Nitish Rana IPL 2018 KKR: Wiki, Biography, Age, Sex, Stats, Performance, Team

Nitish Rana is an Indian first-class cricketer. He plays for Delhi cricket team in the domestic cricket team. He is a left-hand batsman and right-arm off-break bowler. He is a member of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad in the VIVO 2018 Indian Premier league.

The left-handed batsman from Delhi made it big in the 10th edition of the Indian T20 League where he scored 333 runs in 13 games and played a major role in Mumbai’s successful campaign. Rana plays his domestic cricket for Delhi and was one of the stars for them in an otherwise forgetful season of 2015-16.

He scored 299 runs in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy including 40-ball 97 against Andhra Pradesh. A career that threatened to fall away a successful 2017 IPL has helped Delhi batsman Nitish Rana emerge as one of the brightest prospects in Indian cricket. However, a poor performance in Vijay Hazare Trophy closed the door for the young batsman, despite captain Gautam Gambhir backing the precocious left-handed batsman.

He is an aggressive left-handed batsman who bowls part-time off spin. He struck 299 runs and 21 sixes and became the batsman to hit most boundaries in the tournament in 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Out of 21 sixes, 8 sixes came in an innings of 97 off 40 balls against Andhra.
