Siddarth Kaul is an Indian cricketer. He is medium pace bowler with a speed of approx 124 Km/h speed. He made his first-class debut for Punjab in 2007. He was a part of the Under-19 team winning the 2008 Under-19 cricket world cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. Kaul gave the breakthroughs when his captained wanted and ended the tournament as the side’s joint leading-wicket taker.

He performed really well throughout the season. As a reward of this, he got signed up for KKR in the Indian Premier League. His father Tej Kaul also played across three seasons in the 1970s for the Jammu and Kashmir.

He made his first-class debut just before the world cup in 2007. He remains unable to fix the place in the team but after that, he came very strong.

Initially, he was bought by KKR but did not get a chance to play for the team. After that, he was moved to the Delhi Daredevils where he got to play few games. The franchise bought him back for the 2014 edition and he took the field 5 matches.

 Facts You Should Know About Siddarth Kaul

Although he is born in India still he belongs to the Indian-Canadian Community.

Siddarth was a part of the victorious 2008 Indian under-19 team led by Virat Kohli and he bowled the last ball of the tournament, castling South Africa’s Brad Barnes to seal India’s win. He took ten wickets at an average of 15.40 in the tournament.

In the last year, he gave away 15 runs to MS Dhoni in the death overs of an IPL game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rising Pune Supergiants. After that Dhoni came to Siddharth and said “accha ball kar raha hai tu. Pace bhi badh gaya hai tera or Yorkers bhi acche jaa rhe hai. Aise hi sharp ball rakh.”
