Rishabh Rajendra Pant is an Indian cricketer. He plays for Delhi in domestic. In December 2015 he was named in India’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket world cup. On 1 February 2016 during the tournament, he smashed fifty runs in just 18 balls. This is the fastest fifty on this level.
On 6 February 2016 Delhi Daredevils bought him for 1.9 crores and on the same day he scored a century for India u-19 in the world cup and took India to semi-finals.
At the age of 19, he sawed all ups and downs in his cricketing career. He is a promising talent and came into limelight at the time of under-19 cricket world cup. he is a dashing and aggressive left-handed batsman hitting 75 runs in just 24 balls against Nepal.
As a reward for this, he received the contract of Indian Premier League from the Delhi Daredevils side. A breakthrough season and Rishabh Pant had well and truly arrived. In the second season of IPL, his confidence was high but destiny has different plans for him. The day before his match against Royal Challengers Banglore his father passed away. He came back to the cricket from the tragedy nearly guided his team home with a single-handed effort. He blasted 97 runs against Gujrat Lions and finished the tournament with total 366 runs.

He used to travel from one city to other in search of a good coach. He moved to Delhi in order to get better opportunities. His coach advised him to move to Rajasthan and it gave positive results to Pant.
He scored a half-century in his debut. Just like Sarfaraz Khan, pant had also a good season of ICC U19 cricket world cup last year in Bangladesh.
He is the third youngest Indian after Wasim Jaffer and Abhinav Mukund to score a triple century in Ranji Trophy.
His innings of 308 runs from 326 balls are the second highest for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy. He holds the record of smashing fastest century in 48 balls in Ranji Trophy 2016-17.
